| So here
you are again at Walt Disney World, wearing your sensible shoes.
You know, the comfortable, well-worn-in walking shoes that are supposed
to let you hike
all over the place in comfort. And you still have raging
blisters.
Then your
eyes are caught by a pair of the most outrageous stiletto heels.
Looking around, you spot other sure-to-cause-pain footwear: teetering
platform shoes, flimsy leather sandals that look like hand-me-downs
from St. Francis of Assisi, and worse. But are these people limping
in pain? Not a chance.
It's enough to drive
you nuts. In fact, it actually did drive Bennet Dunlap nuts, if
his web site
BadShoe.com is anything to judge by.
BadShoe.com is a photographic
record of the less-than-acceptable footwear (in his own estimation)
that he has spotted at WDW on his frequent visits. To use Dunlap's
own words, "BadShoe.com proudly puts its best foot forward
and features the worst shoes of Walt Disney World. Feet that will
live in infamy."
If this sounds a bit
nutty, well maybe it is, but Dunlap's site is an absolute hoot.
If nothing else a visit will ensure that you dress your feet properly
when traipsing through the magic kingdom.
IF
YOU FIND THIS WEB SITE HELPFUL, PLEASE CONSIDER PURCHASING
MY BOOKS! THANKS.
