One of the great things about Space Coast Stadium used to be the food. But unfortunately, in 2006, the food was about the worst tasting stadium food I've ever had in my life. Let's start with the decision to remove one of my favorite items, the Taco in the Helmet. This was a unique dish, only found in this park, but in 2006, the Taco in the Helmet was no more. When I walked the park and didn't find my favorite food, I went looking for my second-favorite, the turkey leg. In years past, the turkey leg came straight off the grill, and was fantastic. This year, it was sitting in a warmer, wrapped in foil, apparently pre-cooked. The turkey was soggy and flavorless. I threw it away and went for the chicken fingers, which were bland but edible. The fries, however, were horrible. Even my son, who would eat chicken fingers for every meal if he had the choice, agreed with my assessment. Didn't find what you were looking for?
