Brevard Zoo

Admission: Adults $10, Seniors (60+) $9, Children (2 to 12) $7
Over 550 animals including alligator, giant anteaters, cougar, river otters, eagles, and several primate species are among the inhabitants here. Kids can feed the parrots and explore the “Paws-On Interactive Zone.”

Sterling Casino Lines

Features four casinos, five cocktail lounges, a nightclub, and an outdoor reggae deck. Cruises last five hours. You must be 21 to sail. Reservations required..

Kennedy Space Center Visitors Center

Hours: Daily, except Christmas and mission launch days, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (last tour to Apollo/Saturn V Center leaves at 2:15 p.m.)
Admission: Adults $31*, Children (3 to 11) $21*
Visit the home of the country’s space exploration program. Among the highlights are exhibits (traditional and interactive) on all aspect’s of America’s space program, IMAX movies, a live astronaut encounter, and a visit to the Apollo/Saturn V Center. There you will see an actual Saturn V moon rocket and experience a re-creation of man’s first landing on the moon.
*Add $7 to include admission to the Astronaut Hall of Fame, just west of KSC on State Route 405, which houses astronaut memorabilia and hands-on activities.

Andretti Thrill Park

Hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., Sunday noon to 10:00 p.m.
Cost: Varies by ride, with most $3 to $6
The park lives up to its name with go-kart tracks, bumper boats, an 18-hole minors pro-golf course, laser tag, an arcade room, and three kiddie rides.
