Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
The stadium has several parking lots. One large lot is right next to the ballpark, and smaller lots are nearby. The latter are a bit of a walk from the park, but not a bad one as much of the way is paved. Caution: The lots next to the park are recerved for handicapped parking ($10) and season ticket holders (don’t ask). If you’re eligible to park here, avoid the first few rows. It’s like the splash zone at Shamu Stadium. Park in front and your car will get dinged. At least a dozen balls must have flown into the area during the game I attended and every one that hit a car caused damage. One great place to park is the VFW lot across the street from the stadium. It’s not that much further than the stadium’s parking and it’s $8. Make sure you ask for a receipt because it counts as a charitable donation. Otherwise, you can find parking nearby for anywhere from $5 to $10. If you poke around a bit and don’t mind a short walk, you can probably park for free. Cost: $5 to $10 Didn't find what you were looking for? Try a Google search.
