Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
This is the easiest ticket to get in Spring Training. After all, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays play 82 regular season games about 10 blocks down the road from Progress Energy Park. The team has a hard time selling out regular season games, much less exhibitions.
Overall, the stadium averages about three-quarters full for any given game. There were tickets available for every Spring Training game in 2004, even the Devil Rays vs. Yankees. One nice place to sit here is the small berm area on the first base side. It puts you close to the players because the bench for the Devil Rays’ bullpen is along the front of the berm. Tickets for it are available only on the day of the game, but you don’t need a berm ticket to sit there. You can get to it even if your seat is elsewhere in the stadium. Capacity: 6,557 Average Attendance: 4,717 Ticket Prices: Field Boxes $19 Loge Boxes $16 Grandstand $14 General Admission Berm $7 For Tickets: 727-825-3250 Didn't find what you were looking for?
