Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
The autograph possibilities are the main attraction at this stadium. You have a good shot at getting autographs from just about any Devil Ray you want plus any member of the visiting team. One of the reasons is the lack of competition. Players are more willing to sign when there isn’t a big crowd, and that’s almost guaranteed here.
As at most parks, you will want to get here early. If you arrive a couple of hours before gametime, you will dramatically improve your chances of getting signatures. The place to go is the outfield side of either dugout. The Devil Rays’ dugout is on the first base side. Line up along the wall, and you’ll be in luck. For visitors’ autographs, do the same on the third base side. If you don’t get to the stadium early, you won’t be out of luck but it will be more difficult. Wait until the game is over, then go to the berm area on the first base side. Stand in the corner closest to the stadium. Many Devil Rays go to the outfield and work out after the game. Some will come over to this area after they finish. Didn't find what you were looking for? Try a Google search.
