Pittsburgh Pirates: Autographs

This is a pretty easy place to get autographs, at least from the Pirates players. Walk to the end of the stadium on the first base side. You will come to a handicapped access ramp with a railing on it. The bleachers are on the other side. If you wait by the ramp, you’re going to get several autographs. An even surer bet is to move to the very end of the ramp nearest the field. Every player must walk by that point on the way from clubhouse to field. You’re so close to them here that players have to go out of their way to ignore your request for an autograph. Most sign.

Note: It helps to know the players’ names and faces in advance, because there are times you will have to call them over.

Getting visitors’ autographs is not that difficult if the players are willing. On the third base side, hidden from the seats, is a fence that goes to the visitors’ clubhouse. All visitors must walk by this fence to get to the lockers. Deciding to sign, is up to them.
