The program at Legends Field is perfect for a baseball fan. It has just about everything you could ask for. The only thing lacking is an easy way to identify the Yankees players, who do not have names on their uniforms. So you have to identify players by their numbers. The “Spring Training Roster” insert gives you uniform numbers, but it is arranged alphabetically by player, not numerically, which makes things a little harder. But, that is the only negative in an otherwise great program. This is the only Grapefruit League program with complete statistics on the team’s players. Each statistics box is accompanied by a mug shot of the player. It was a hoot to go back and look at some of the star players’ careers, including their time in the minor leagues. The program is filled with interesting articles, such as a history of the Yankees and a recap of the previous season. A neat feature in the program is an 8x10 photograph of one of the Yankees.
