This combination of theme park and wildlife park offers some of the best roller coasters in Florida. It also has wonderful animal exhibits, other rides, and live shows.
Ybor City

Dubbed “Florida’s Latin Quarter,” Ybor City is a National Historic Landmark District packed with bars, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The nation’s first cigar factories were located here and you can still buy hand-rolled cigars in Ybor City’s shops.
A visitor’s center for the district in located in The Centro Ybor Museum at 1600 East Eighth Avenue. It is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays noon to 6 p.m.
Ybor City Museum State Park

Admission: Museum $3 (Children under 6 free)
Includes an ornamental garden and a restored cigar work-er’s house. There are continuous cigar rolling demonstrations Fridays through Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A one-hour walking tour of the area and museum building is available Saturday at 10:30 a.m. for $6. Limited to 20, no reservations taken.
Lowry Park Zoo

Florida wildlife, an assortment of primates, and exotic Asian species all call the zoo home. Highlights for kids include a petting zoo, an interactive area, and a Manatee Aquatic Center.
MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry)

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa

This joint project of the Seminole Tribe and Hard Rock Café International qualifies as both an attraction and a hotel. The casino offers bingo, slots, and low-stakes poker 24/7 to adults 18 and over. Parking is free. Kids are allowed in the casino restaurants with an adult parent or guardian, but they can’t enter the gaming rooms.
