Tradition Field is an average-size Spring Training ballpark that looks much bigger than it is. In many respects it seems like a miniature Major League stadium. However, the improvements have created a number of opportunities for fans to get close to the players. Sitting in the new berm lets you connect with players before the game during warm-ups. The new seats behind home plate bring you close to the action throughout the game, and the terrace section puts you right next to the pitchers and catchers as they get ready to enter the game. So while the stadium is still big, seating most people far from the action, there are opportunities to savor the essence of the Spring Training experience.
