Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
Perhaps the best feature of this stadium is how close it puts you to the players. In today’s Spring Training, many parks discourage fan-player interaction. Here, they invite it. When the players are in their dugouts, they literally have their backs on the fence that is right in front of the fans seated behind the dugouts and behind the bullpens on either side of the stadium. You could reach out and touch them. (You’d probably be thrown out of the stadium if you did, but you could do it.) But even if you are as far from the field as possible, you won’t have a bad seat. There are only about 30 rows of seats total, so even those at the very top are close to the action. Tip: If you want a fun spot, take a seat down the first base line. You’ll see every Dodger player up close as he walks back to the clubhouse. Didn't find what you were looking for? Try a Google search.
