Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
Surprisingly, tickets are almost always available at Holman Stadium. Although the stadium is just average in size, I was able to get seats about two sections from the end of the stadium just one week before the game. I was then able to move to the front row on the other side of the stadium after I got there.
On average, about a third of tickets go unsold. Two factors probably account for this: Vero Beach is a small city and it is further away from a major metropolitan area than any of the other Spring Training sites. It’s a shame more people don’t travel to this park. There are no bad seats in the stadium, and all seats are the same price, $16 ($18 on weekends), whether you sit right behind home plate or at the very end of the outfield lines. That puts it among the lowest top ticket prices in the Grapefruit League and on a par with or a bit higher than the other parks’ lower-priced reserved seats. I used to lament the lack of a general admission ticket to the expansive berm in the outfield. No more. Holman now sells berm tickets for many games.
