Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
In most cases, you’re going to want to get your tickets as soon as possible for games in Kissimmee. The stadium averaged 80 percent full in 2006, which isn’t all that surprising considering that Osceola Stadium is in the midst of the nation’s Number One tourist destination. Remember, this is the smallest stadium in the Grapefruit League and, as such, tickets go fast.
This is especially true for games with the marquee teams. For instance, you might think you would have a better chance at Braves tickets here than at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex down the road. You won’t. And when the Yankees come to town, you’re probably going to be out of luck if you didn’t buy your tickets when they went on sale in January. One of the biggest drawbacks -- and maybe the only drawback -- to Osceola County Stadium is the lack of ticket variety. There are only two types of seats, Box Seats and Reserved. Box Seats are below the aisle and Reserved above. What that means for the fan is there are no general admission tickets, thus no cheap seats to be had. There is also no standing room. Still, the top ticket price here is one of the least expensive in Spring Training. And a $15 seat, the lower price here, is a much better value than a $20 seat at other parks. There really isn't abad seat in the stadium. Capacity: 5,225 Average Attendance: 4,298 Ticket Prices: Box Seat $18 Reserved Seat $15 For Tickets: 321-697-3200 Didn't find what you were looking for?
