Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League
Houston Astros: Programs

The program is a decent one. It focuses on Spring Training more than on the regular season, and last year’s program included a history of the Astros’ Spring Training seasons. It was missing some crucial details. For instance, while there are statistics from prior years for the non-invitees, there were none for the 40-man roster of regular players. That doesn’t make sense. There were also no instructions on keeping score, which should be included in every program.

The program includes basic information and mug shots of players listed alphabetically. The numerical roster is only on an insert. When looking up a player by number, it helps to have both in the same place.

Thankfully, the advertisements were about Kissimmee and the surrounding area. There was absolutely nothing on Houston except from the national sponsors, like Continental Airlines — a real plus in my book.

All in all, this is a decent program and an OK investment.
