Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League
Houston Astros: Autographs

If you’re an autograph collector, this is one of the top parks to visit. You’ll be able to garner more autographs here than at just about any other ballpark, if the players are up to it. To get to the prime autograph area, walk to the end of the third base line. You will find a wide-open area with the team’s clubhouse on one side and left field on the other. This is Autograph Alley. If you stop along the left field wall, you will get some of the lesser-known players. To get the top Astros players, walk all the way to the short fence at the end of the Alley. Wait until after the game and most players will sign for you.

For autographs from the visiting team, go to the first base side of the stadium. Here again you will find a long walkway that the visitors must pass to get from their clubhouse to the field and back. It’s easy pickings if the players are willing.

Note: Unlike at many parks, getting to Osceola County Stadium early does not really improve your chances of getting autographs. Many stars won’t sign until after they finish playing, and some players go to the locker room first to change and then come back out.
