Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
Unless the Tigers are playing the Yankees or one of the other marquee teams, you’ll find seats available close to game day — and maybe even then. For one thing, Joker Marchant is the third largest stadium in the Grapefruit League, with 8,500 seats. For another, the Tigers are just not the same draw as the Yankees and Braves, which play in the Grapefruit League’s two largest stadiums.
That said, be forewarned. The stands here are quite high and it’s easy to get a seat that is a considerable distance from the field. For instance, the left field bleachers are some of the highest metal bleachers I’ve ever seen. They are at least three stories tall, so watch out if you don’t like heights. Then again, the berm is a great place to get a suntan and watch the game. As for prices, overall they are about average for Spring Training parks. The top price is lower than at some places, while the general admission is one of the highest in the League. Capacity: 8,500 Average Attendance: 5,254 Ticket Prices: Field Box $16 (premium games $18) Regular Box $15 ($17) Reserved $13 ($15) Wheelchair Accessible $13 ($15) Left Field Reserved $12 General Admission $9 Outfield Berm Seating $7 For Tickets: 813-287-8844 Didn't find what you were looking for?
