Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
There are just a couple of souvenir stands at Joker Marchant, no large store. You’ll find one stand near the entrance. The other is near the third base bleachers. The one unusual item here is Lakeland’s version of the foam finger, which boasts that the stadium’s team is number one. Instead of a finger, Joker Marchant supports the Tiger theme by offering a foam tiger paw. If you want a souvenir, visit Lakeland at the beginning of the season. I went on the last day of Spring Training and many of the items I was looking for were sold out. For instance, I bought a baseball with a team logo at every other ballpark. When I got to Lakeland, they were sold out. In fact, they had no baseballs whatsoever to sell. I had to go out to the berm before the game and buy one off of one of the guys who had caught a bunch during morning practice. There was a silent auction of Tiger autographs and memorabilia the day I went. It took place near the main entrance and had a few decent items. If you are a Tigers fan, you should check to see if they’ll be having an auction while you’re there. Didn't find what you were looking for? Try a Google search.
