You’re fairly close to the players here. During warm-ups you can hear their conversations. For instance, the game I attended, I saw a front office employee come onto the field and ask two players to come with him. Ken Griffey Jr. then started heckling them, telling them to watch out and be careful. He knew what was coming. I didn’t. The next day I learned those two players were sent to the minor leagues.
