Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League
Cincinnati Reds: Food & Drink

This is quite simply the best thing about Ed Smith Stadium. In fact, it’s some of the best food in the Grapefruit League. So bring an appetite.

Let’s start with the “Big Red Smokey.” While non-eaters may call it smoked sausage, the Big Red stands out from other offerings of its kind. It has just the right amount of snap, juices, and flavor. Made me wish I had bought two Smokeys and skipped the hot dog.

Another outstanding feature of Ed Smith Stadium is the rotating roster of independent concessionaires who cook up hot specialties. One year it might be smoked rib tips, the next a monster hot dog called the “Home Wrecker.” Don’t miss these special treats.

The concession stands offer a selection of draft beers. While your beer will get warm quickly in the Florida sun, it’s cold when it starts out. Again, Ed Smith Stadium knows how to do its concessions. Special beer stands on each side of the stadium offer upscale imports in plastic bottles.
