Orlando's not a one-mouse town and this is the site that proves it! |
There have been significant improvements in City of Palms’ souvenir store and stands in the past couple of years. Formerly dark, cramped, and filled mainly with Red Sox garb, the main store on the third base side appears to have doubled in space. The dark décor has been replaced with a pleasing light wood grain and the merchandise is varied and spread out. The difference it makes is astounding. While it can still get crowded and you can expect to wait in line to get in if you visit right near gametime, the shopping experience is much, much better. The selection on my most recent visit included such unusual items as a baby rattle and a bookmark. A second stand on the first base side has been expanded as well. In past years, this was a true stand. You walked up and pointed to the item you wanted. Now, you can walk in and shop. Didn't find what you were looking for? Try a Google search.
