Do not forget to buy a program, especially if you are a Red Sox fan. The Red Sox put out one of the best programs in Spring Training. Why so? Because it has everything a baseball fan needs. You’ll find individual photos of every player on the team and a very detailed explanation on how to keep score. The stories are in-depth and focus on Spring Training. For instance, the program had a history of the Red Sox Spring Training, a profile on every new player, and a rundown of new players who started Spring Training better than anyone expected. It also included a mini-poster for the kids, featuring six of the Red Sox current stars. In addition, there’s plenty of information about Fort Myers, albeit in the form of advertisements. Still, just about everything a visitor would want to do was advertised. About the only thing missing was a numerical listing of the players. The Red Sox do not wear their last name on the back of their jersey, so when a player is coming by it is difficult to use the program to find out who he is.
