Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
There are plenty of seats in the shade at Fort Lauderdale Stadium. In fact, you’re going to have to hunt to find seats in the sun, thanks to the way the seats face and the stadium’s roof. First, the seats face the northeast. During Spring Training, the sun is in the southern sky, meaning the sun is to your back here. Second, there is a large roof that stretches over the entire reserved grandstand section. If you want shade, you are virtually guaranteed it in the grandstands. Those who want the sun should aim for the general admission seats in either the right or the left field, where you will get the best sun on your face. If you sit in the box seats, your neck will burn, but your face won’t. Didn't find what you were looking for? Try a Google search.
