Admission: None. You pay by the ride or activity. Come here for a range of activities, from go-karts, Naskart racing, and bumper cars and boats to arcade games, miniature golf, rock-wall climbing, and batting cages.
Price: Prices range from $1 for 18 pitches in the batting cage up to $15 for Sky Coaster. A round of miniature golf costs $7.
Dania Beach Hurricane

Admission: Unlimited rides for $12
South Florida’s only wooden roller coaster offers 3,200 feet worth of adrenaline-pumping excitement and speeds up to 55 miles per hour. The ride lasts two minutes.
Discovery Cruise Line

Take a one-day cruise to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island. The price includes three buffet meals onboard (breakfast and lunch on the way to Freeport and dinner on the way back), plus shows, a disco, swimming pools, and deck chairs. Like most cruise ships these days, this one is equipped with a casino. You get into Freeport at 1:00 p.m. and leave at 4:45 p.m. Cruise ’N Stay vacation packages are also available.

GameWorks is 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art video games. Plus a full bar and the GameWorks Grill, a full service restaurant. Game cards start at $7.
Hollywood Classic Casino

The first casino built on a reservation, Hollywood Seminole Gaming offers prize money up to $200,000 and poker tournaments two to three days per week (Sunday and Wednesday as we go to press).
Museum of Discovery & Science and Blockbuster 3-D IMAX Theater

You’ll find over 200 hands-on exhibits and a five-story IMAX theater here. Admission includes all exhibits and one IMAX film.

Florida’s largest retail and entertainment mall features 400 name-brand stores and outlets, along with the Oasis, a hub for restaurants, bars, and entertainment, including a 23-screen movie multiplex. The mall is 10 miles west of Fort Lauderdale.
