Florida Spring Training: Your Guide To Touring The Grapefruit League |
Getting autographs is not an easy task here. Cracker Jack Stadium is designed to prevent access to the players. In fact, the only autographs you’ll be able to get are those of players who actually come over to the stands — and that doesn’t happen often with the Atlanta Braves. The only place the players visit (and only some of them, sometimes) is just past the dugout on the first base side. If you want the chance to get an autograph, hang out there. But be aware that in a further attempt to discourage autographs, the stadium chases everyone out of the sections nearest the dugouts about 30 minutes before the game, which in other stadiums is one of the best times to get an autograph.
