If you will be in Florida for more than seven days, you may want to consider the Orlando FlexTicket. In fact, this can be a good choice even if you will be staying for a shorter visit, since it offers admission to some non-Worlds of Discovery parks as well.
Several of the non-Disney theme parks, namely Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, Aquatica, Wet ’n Wild, and Busch Gardens Africa, have banded together to offer multi-day, multi-park passes at an extremely attractive price.
This option is called the Orlando FlexTicket and it works like this:
Five-Park, Fourteen-Day Orlando FlexTicket:
(Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, Aquatica, Wet ’n Wild)
Adults: $250.22
Children (3 to 9): $207.62
Six-Park, Fourteen-Day Orlando FlexTicket:
(adds Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa)
Adults: $298.14
Children (3 to 9): $250.22
These passes are valid for fourteen consecutive days, beginning on the day you first use them. They offer unlimited visits to the parks they cover. As for parking, you pay at the first park you visit on any given day. Then show your parking ticket and Orlando FlexTicket at the other parks on the same day for complimentary parking. The six-park option includes free bus transportation from SeaWorld to Busch Gardens.
Remember, these tickets expire. That is, if you use an Orlando FlexTicket for only five days, you can’t return a month later and use the remaining nine days. These passes offer excellent value for the dollar; the five-park adult pass works out to less than $18 a day if you use all 14 days!
Even if you only stay a week, we’re talking less than $36 a day. On top of that, they offer the come and go as you please convenience of Passports, albeit for a much shorter time.
Passes may be purchased on the various Worlds of Discovery park web sites at any of the participating parks’ ticket booths, or through your travel agent before coming.
