Orlando's not a one-mouse town and this is the site that proves it!
Kennedy Space Center - Seeing a Launch for Free

If you’d rather not pay the KSC admission fee and the $15 extra charge to be bussed out to the NASA Causeway, you can still get an excellent view of the launch from Space View Park in nearby Titusville. Take Exit 80 from I-95 (SR 406, Garden Street). The park is two blocks south of SR 406. Nearby Veterans Memorial Park often has a loudspeaker broadcasting the audio feed from NASA. Get there early.

Seeing A Rocket Launch

While they don’t have quite the same cachet as a Shuttle launch, the more regular launches of commercial and military satellites that take place on Cape Canaveral are pretty fun to watch. When they are in the offing, visitors are given advance notice and will be advised as to the best places along the KSC Tour from which to get a view of the big event.
