Kelly says: For teachers and budding astronauts
On the opposite side of the Visitor Complex grounds from Shuttle Plaza, set well away from the other attractions, this large building houses the educational outreach component of the Kennedy Space Center. Inside, teachers will find a library and resource center just for them. Special programs for visiting school groups are also held in this building. The Exploration Station is open to the general public. It is a largish room filled with hands-on, interactive exhibits that demonstrate basic principles of science. This will probably most appeal to younger kids.
