Cypress Gardens sells admission by the day and by the year. At press time, prices (not including tax) were as follows:
One-Day Pass:
Regular: $39.95
Juniors (3 to 9): $34.95
Seniors (55+) $34.95
A second-day-free option seems pretty standard, so this is actually a two-day admission.
Annual Passport:
All ages: $64.95
This option is good for the calendar year only; it will be discounted to $59.95 as the year wears on.
Gold Passport:
All ages: $99.95
Platinum Passport:
All ages: $129.95
Annual Parking Pass:
All ages: $25.00
The regular annual pass, called a Passport, is only valid until the end of the current calendar year. So if you purchase it in June, it still expires at the end of December. About halfway through the year, the price of the pass is discounted. It offers admission to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia, Cypress Garden’s sister park. It also offers admission to all concerts at the park. The major drawback of the annual pass is that it does not offer free parking. You can purchase a $25 Annual Parking Pass, which pays for itself in three visits, but if you are visiting on three or more days, you might just as well get the Gold Passport. Not even the friendly people in Guest Services could explain the logic of the Annual Passport to me.
Since the Gold Passport is valid for a full calendar year, includes free parking, a variety of discounts, and costs about what three separate admissions would cost, it is clearly the way to go. The Platinum Passport adds more discounts. The annual passes make the most sense for Florida residents or others who find themselves in the Winter Haven area on a regular basis. If you decide you want one, step into Guest Services in Jubilee Junction; they will create your photo ID Passport while you wait.
