Type: Lake cruise
Time: 45 minutes
Kelly says: Great for house hunting
Several times a day, a re-creation of a nineteenth century paddle wheel steamer sets out for a slow turn around Lake Eloise. The narrated tour will point out the Lake’s bird life and, if you’re lucky, you may see an alligator sunning itself on a dock. But the best part of the trip is a chance to survey the lakeside homes, some of which are quite grand. If any are on the market, chances are your guide will let you know.
There is a $6 charge for this cruise. In the evenings, at 6:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. on Sundays), the Cypress Belle sets sail on a ninety-minute prime rib dinner cruise. The charge is $27 for adults, $22 for children 5 to 12.
