Crowds are never a factor in picking the date of your visit; Cypress Gardens is rarely mobbed. And thanks to the wizardry of the horticultural staff, there’s always something to see. I recommend spring and fall, since the weather is close to ideal; the summer can be stifling and winter is unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from pleasant to quite chilly. On the other hand, the night ski show is presented only in the summer and that’s pretty nifty. Whenever you visit, plan to stay late enough to enjoy the spectacular sunsets over Lake Eloise.
