Marriott’s Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, to use it’s formal name, is the closest resort property to SeaWorld, so close in fact that it is clearly visible from within the park. This proximity alone might make it your first choice, but it has much else to recommend it.
A large, ten-story rectangular building, the hotel itself is not architecturally imposing on the outside. It has long been a major destination for conventions, medical symposia, and similar get-togethers and the functional layout of the hotel reflects that mission. As SeaWorld has grown in both stature and popularity, however, the Renaissance has taken on the additional role of playing host to families with nothing but leisure on their minds.
