Stroll along the broad corridor that links the hotel with the vast convention center next door and you will see this spacious bar with a generous seating area set off by a low wall. It can be mobbed when trade shows and meetings are in session, but in its off hours it is a quiet place to grab a cooling drink and a light meal. An abbreviated menu offers appetizers like nachos and fried calamari, and a small selection of salads. Somewhat more substantial are a pecan chicken salad wrap, burgers, a Cuban sandwich, and a fish taco with grouper and remoulade sauce. While not extensive, the menu offers a very reasonable alternative for a more than adequate lunch or dinner.
