Business Center
Like any hotel that caters to the convention trade, the Renaissance has a business center, but it also has an outpost of FedEx/Kinko’s in one corner of the lobby. It is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Guest Laundry
The hotel offers dry cleaning services, but has no guest laundry. Guest services will direct you to nearby options.
Internet Access
Internet service is available in all rooms using either USB or Ethernet cables. There is a fee of $14.95 per day, which includes unlimited local and long distance telephone calls. Free wireless Internet access is available in the public areas of the hotel.
Meetings and Conventions
The hotel has 185,000 square feet of meeting space, ranging from cavernous halls suitable for trade shows, to grand ballrooms, to intimate conference rooms. If you’d like to explore holding your next meeting at the Renaissance Orlando, call Conference Management at (407) 351-5555.
Parking
The hotel has ample parking in outdoor lots. The fee for self-parking is $12 per day; valet parking is $16 per day, plus tips, of course.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at the resort.
Smoking
The resort has a totally no-smoking policy and they’re serious about it. If you smoke in your room, you will be charged a $250 “room recovery” fee.
Transportation Services
The resort offers complimentary shuttle service to SeaWorld, Aquatica, and Universal Orlando, with three morning departures and three return trips in the late afternoon. There is a paid service to Walt Disney World. You need to make your shuttle arrangements in advance. If you booked a Discovery Cove package through the resort, they will provide a free ride. If you booked elsewhere, you still might be able to get a lift, but it is not guaranteed. There is also a Hertz rental car counter in the hotel, and taxi and limousine service is readily available.
