There are just a few shops at Aquatica and the merchandise on offer is by and large utilitarian, although often quite nice. Sunnies n’Such is a small kiosk just inside the entrance stocking the things you forgot (sunscreen, sun visors) and some things you might want (waterproof disposable cameras, water shoes).
A short distance farther in, the much larger Kiwi Traders offers a wider selection of the same sort merchandise and adds colorful souvenir beach towels and equally colorful swimwear for men and women. Kiwi Traders also sells some colorful painted metal figures based on the animal symbols found around the park. These renditions of kiwis, kookabura birds, and such make attractive wall-mounted decorative accents.
Near the far end of the park, between Banana Beach Cook-Out and HooRoo Run, is Adaptations, an open-sided shop featuring t-shirts, flip-flops, bead necklaces and the kind of sun dresses that you can throw over a wet swim suit. Smaller, mobile kiosks pop up here and there as crowds warrant.
