Kelly says: Worth a peek
When you reach the beach area of Discovery Cove, look to your left for two square, open-sided, tent-like structures. This is the Conservation Cabana, where members of the education staff wait to satisfy your idle curiosity about what you are seeing and provide a deeper understanding of Nature and the importance of protecting it.
The cabana is stocked with a small collection artifacts from the natural world — egg shells, bones, coral, and the like — to pique your interest and encourage discussion.
Several times during the day, the conservation staffers bring out animals for show and tell and a brief walk around the park to show them off. You might see a macaw or, my favorite, a two-toed sloth.
