Here’s a great chance to pet a shark and find out more about these cartilaginous carnivores we all love to hate. For those who don’t like to read, taking this tour can serve as an alternative to reading all that informational signage in the Shark Encounter exhibit.
You also get to visit the inner workings of the shark tank, where you can gain some appreciation of the water filtration system. Then comes a chance to examine shark jaws, shark skins, and sawfish bones up close. The piece de resistance is a close encounter with a shark — a small, docile critter, but a shark nonetheless. Reach out your hand and enjoy bragging rights back home.
