As the title suggests, this show is performed only at night, only once a day, and only during the summer months when the park is open late. If you are here when this show is being offered, don’t miss it!
The goofy guys who brought you Clyde and Seamore let their hair down even farther to bring you this truly funny (and occasionally biting) satire on the other shows at SeaWorld. But instead of dolphins and whales, they use sea lions, walruses, and otters. The SeaWorld Mime is dragooned into the show and doesn’t seem to be too happy about the dumb things he’s called on to do, including standing in for the birds of Blue Horizons and donning a whale fluke headpiece for their version of Believe.
The show pokes good natured fun at the pretentiousness that lurks just below the surface of shows like Blue Horizons and One Ocean. Maybe there’s a wee bit of jealousy involved, too. In one of the show’s funniest bits, the cast members strut and preen as orca trainers, their wet suits bulging with artificially enhanced muscles, while an enormous lumbering walrus stands in for Shamu. There are jabs taken at Pets Ahoy and Kraken as well. All in all, it adds up to one of the best shows at SeaWorld.
