There are far fewer dining choices at this end of the park and nothing rises to the size and relative sophistication of the eateries on The Waterfront. Still, the Deli and Mango Joe’s are good choices for a quick and simple meal. In addition to the spots reviewed below, there are a number of permanent or seasonal snack shops or carts that offer quick snacks and soft drinks to go.
The South End also houses The Cove, where a number of dinner attractions (reviewed a bit later) are offered on a by-reservation basis.
