If you had very little time to spend at SeaWorld, I would venture to suggest that you could see just a handful of attractions and still feel you got your money’s worth — if you picked the right ones. Here, then, is my list of the very best that SeaWorld has to offer:
The three major open-air animal shows — Believe, Clyde & Seamore, and Blue Horizons — are the heart and soul of SeaWorld. Anyone missing these should have his or her head examined.
Close behind are the major “aquatic habitats” — Wild Arctic (and the ride that introduces the experience), Shark Encounter, Key West at SeaWorld, and Manatee Rescue. I have omitted Pacific Point Preserve and Penguin Encounter (both marvelous) only because you are likely to see their close equivalents elsewhere.
If you have the time, the Pets Ahoy and Odyssea shows are very entertaining and hold up to repeat viewing. Finally, for thrill seekers, there is the stupendous roller coaster, Kraken.
