Even at the height of summer the crowds at SeaWorld are quite manageable compared to those you’ll encounter at, say, Disney. Still, it is a good idea to plan on arriving during the off-season, if at all possible. Crowds in January are negligible and the weather cool to moderate, perfect viewing conditions for the outdoor shows. Regardless of the time of year you visit, I would recommend arriving early and planning to stay until the park closes. There are two reasons for this. Early arrivals breeze right in; as the morning wears on, the lines at the ticket booths lengthen. As for staying until the bitter end, some of the best shows (including what is arguably the best show) are only performed in the hour before closing. Compensate for the long day with a leisurely lunch.
