This meal is much like Dine With Shamu with the important distinction that you don’t dine with Shamu. Instead, you are treated to a video about the making of Believe as you chow down. The screen is on the other side of the pool and, given the constant chatter of the kids who aren’t paying the least bit of attention, you may find the video hard to follow. Besides, the video can be purchased at Shamu’s Emporium on the way out of the park and, frankly, seeing the video at home might be a better experience.
The pool is open to the whales and one (or more) may choose to pop in during your meal, but there are no interactions scheduled. So don’t come thinking you’ll see Shamu; you might but it’s not guaranteed. Knowing this will help you avoid any possible disappointment.
The real benefit to this show is the reserved seats that await you at Shamu Stadium after the meal. They are in the upper section, so if you have your heart set on sitting in the splash zones, your hopes will be dashed.
