During the summer months and holiday seasons, the characters from Sesame Place, a sister park in Pennsylvania, come south to entertain the hordes of kids in Orlando at the Seaport Theatre. There are typically three shows a day, in the morning and very early afternoon.
This one promotes reading with a silly story about finding clues to a riddle that will allow Elmo, Abby, Rosita, Grover and Cookie Monster to open a talking trunk filled with kids' books. There's plenty of loud music and the characters run into the audience, much to the delight of their tiny fans.
On weekends in October, during SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktakular, a similar kid's show called "Countdown to Halloween" (featuring Sesame Street's The Count, of course) is performed in this theater.
