Plasma TV screens on the wall provide a never ending flow of music videos for the crowds that gather in this intimate, postmodern lounge. It has quickly proved to be the place for groups of friends to meet before an evening at the hotel or CityWalk.
The decor relies on the same artfully mismatched furniture that fills the lobby. To this is added some wonderfully tacky faux zebra chairs, abstract art, and portraits of rock stars in a color-filled mish-mash that makes you feel like you’ve had a bit too much to drink before you take your first sip. A well-placed divider splits the room into a bar area and a more secluded lounge area, and servers in chic black prowl the bar and the adjacent lobby lounge taking orders. For serious drinkers there is cognac ($10 to $175) and single malt Scotch ($11 to $23). There are about two dozen specialty drinks ($9.50 and up) on offer as well as an abbreviated menu ($8 to $14) of things to nibble on, including jerk shrimp, burgers, and salad.
