If you aren’t staying at one of Universal Orlando’s on-property hotels, you may want to consider staying close by. The following hotels are located along Major Boulevard, just opposite the Kirkman Road entrance to the Universal Orlando property. They are listed below in order of their distance to CityWalk. It is actually possible to walk into the parks from these hotels, although it can be an uncomfortably warm walk on hot days. Major Boulevard is also served by the Super Star Shuttle (see Chapter One) which stops at the DoubleTree, the Holiday Inn, and the Sleep Inn. Guests staying at adjacent hotels often avail themselves of this service, which at press time was free to all.
The price range refers to the cost of a standard double room, from low season to high, as follows:
