Shopping here is muted and low key, which after the mercantile madness of the theme parks is a refreshing change of pace. Off the lobby, you will find Toko Gifts, a small shop that at first glance seems entirely devoted to casual clothing and souvenirs, all with Royal Pacific and Universal logos. Peek around the corner at the back and you will find magazines and sundries of the sort you’d expect at any hotel lobby store.
More elaborate is Treasures of Bali, located near the pool on the way to the convention wing. This is the place to come if you forgot to pack your swim gear. Swimsuits for men and women are stocked here, along with a variety of balls and toys suitable for pool play. You will find some very nice resort wear for after-pool occasions, much of it with a South Seas flavor. A small selection of Indonesian crafts can be found here and, if you poke around in the back of the shop, you’ll discover some magazines and popular novels for poolside reading.
