Portofino Bay offers some superb gourmet dining, but reflecting the casual ambiance of its namesake, there are also casual, moderately priced eateries dotted around the property. Of course it’s all Italian, in keeping with the hotel’s theme. Unless you can be satisfied with a burger or a club sandwich, you’ll have to travel to CityWalk or the parks for more varied fare.
Most of the hotel’s eateries are positioned to take advantage of the piazza and the Bay. For this survey, I begin on the western side of the Bay and work my way around the piazza to the east, before describing two venues located elsewhere in the hotel. Guests who just can’t get it together to drag themselves to one of these restaurants can take advantage of the hotel’s 24-hour room service..
