Orlando’s nightlife epicenter has shifted several times over the decades. In the 1970s and ‘80s, downtown’s historic Church Street Station was world-famous for its entertainment (and is now attempting a comeback). In the 1990s, Disney’s Pleasure Island (currently defunct and under redevelopment) cornered the after-hours adult market. But today, the preferred place for post-attraction partying is at Universal Orlando.
CityWalk is a happening enclave of heavily themed restaurants, nightclubs, shops, and movie theaters that rocks long after the nearby theme parks have closed up for the night.
