If you purchased a multi-day theme park pass, then price is not a consideration. Go. Boogie. Enjoy. Otherwise, you may want to spend a few moments considering your options. If you plan on visiting most, if not all, of the clubs on a single night, the Party Pass is a fabulous deal. Personally, I think that’s insane. But even if you only visit two, the Party Pass pays for itself.
However, be aware that it is possible to visit two clubs and pay only one cover charge. It works like this: The cover charge clicks in at 9:00, but they don’t go around from table to table to collect the cover from those already in the club. So you could arrive at, say, Marley’s half an hour before the cover takes effect, grab a good seat and catch the first show. Then you could move on to, say, CityJazz, paying the $7 cover there. If you call it a night then, you’ve only spent $7 in cover charges and saved a little money — $5.77, to be exact.
Since the additional cost of a Party Pass is so small, why not go for it? That way you can satisfy your morbid curiosity about clubs you otherwise wouldn’t try. And who knows? You might discover a place you really love.
