
Quench your
thirst free at Ice Station Cool (a refreshment center that serves
soft drinks popular in countries such as Japan, Mexico, and Italy).
Youll find it at the end of Innoventions-West Side.
Find the talking trash can at the Electric
Umbrella restaurant. It speaks to you when you push the trash
panel open. This special trash can is moved around by the Disney
folks but is usually located inside the restaurant. Ask a nearby
Disney cast member (especially if he or she is emptying trash
cans) where the talking can is located.
Check out the Wonders of Laugh show at the Wonders of Life
Pavilion. Check your Times Guide for performances or check inside
the pavilion.
Buy a same-day ticket (at the Green Thumb Emporium) or
reserve in advance for the 1-hour Behind The Seeds
guided tour of the greenhouses at The Land Pavilion (cost is about
$6 for adults and $4 for children ages 3 to 9; booking starts
at 9:00 a.m.). Longer Epcot tours are offered to guests 16 and
older. Among the offerings are the 3-hour Gardens of the
World tour (Tuesdays and Thursdays, about $59 per person
not including park admission) and the 3-hour Hidden Treasures
of World Showcase architectural tour (Tuesdays and Thursdays,
about $59 per person not including park admission). Or visit backstage
in some of the Future World pavilions in the 4.5-hour Undiscovered
Future World tour ($49 per person not including park admission).

At The Living Seas Pavilion, scuba dive (daily, about $140
per person including all necessary gear for a 2.5- hour session
that includes a 30-minute dive adventure). Or learn
about dolphins in depth (weekdays, about $140 per person for a
3.5-hour program). You must be 16 or older to participate, and
park admission is neither included nor required. Call 407-939-8687
for information and reservations for either activity.
Take a free guided tour of Norway or Morocco (check your
Guidemap or at the pavilions for times).
Visit the exhibits in China, Japan, and Morocco.
Watch the evening IllumiNations from a boat under the bridge
between France and the United Kingdom. Very relaxing and romantic!
You can rent a pontoon boat or The Breathless (a sleek motor boat)
by calling ahead to 407-939-7529. Cost is about $120 per pontoon
boatload of up to 10 guests, and about $160 for up to 7 guests
on The Breathless. Food and drink are not included but can be
ordered (contact Guest Services at the resort from which you are
departing, or call 407-934-3160). You do not have to be a Disney
property guest to rent a boat or order food.
Tip: IllumiNations Cruises are very popular. Start calling 2 to
3 minutes before 7:00 a.m. 90 days (even try 91 or 92 days!) in
advance of the date you want. Thats 7:00 a.m. Florida time!
These boats can be rented during the day as well. The Breathless
costs $25 for a 10-minute trip and $75 for 30 minutes for up to
7 guests.
Enjoy any special seasonal festivals or events at Epcot.
