Walt Disney World Resort’s newest theme park is a grand zoological kingdom (over 200 species of animals) with a mix of Disney shows and attractions similar in scale to those at the other major Disney theme parks. Disney’s Animal Kingdom pays tribute to all animals while warning humans to do more to help save our fellow creatures and the plants on which all of us depend. The majority of animals here are out in the open. You see them on “hills” and savannas from the vantage point of safari vehicles and in gardens and small parks as you stroll the kingdom’s many walking trails. You have to search far and wide to find any cages or bars.

Note: To protect the animals, no balloons, straws, or cup lids (except for hot drinks) are allowed in the park. Your balloons can be stored at the park entrance.
